Labor Day Weekend & the 52nd Annual Mackinac Bridge Walk!
The 2010 Labor Day Weekend Celebration begins with Arts and Crafts Dockside at the City Marina Parking Lot Area in downtown St. Ignace September 4-5, 2010.
Over 100 exhibits of original and unique arts and crafts along the waterfront. Musicians, dancers, and jugglers add to the festivities.

Saturday, September 4th - 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 5th - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
...and Ends with the 53rd Annual Mackinac Bridge Walk Monday, September 6, 2010
The walk begins at 7:00 a.m. You must begin walking by 11:00 a.m. No one will be permitted to start after 11:00 a.m.
Join thousands of walkers and make the five-mile trek across the Mighty Mackinac Bridge!
The annual trek across the 5-mile long Mackinac Bridge occurs on Labor Day, the only day of the year pedestrians are allowed on the bridge. Walkers begin in St. Ignace at the north end of the Bridge and walk south. The walk is one-way, and bus transportation is available to return you to St. Ignace until 2:30 p.m..

Bridge Walk Shuttle
To alleviate some of the parking congestion at the Bridge View Park, the Mackinac Bridge Authority is offering a FREE shuttle from Little Bear East Ice Arena to the Mackinac Bridge for the Labor Day Bridge Walk. Shuttles will make continuous circuits from Little Bear East Arena to the Bridge View Park and back between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
